Trifari Art Deco Emerald & Pave Diamond Necklace

~ Here’s a magnificent and highly sought after, Cartier-inspired, faux Emerald & Diamante necklace set in heavily rhodium plated white metal.

~ The pendant is comprised of a spectacular faceted emerald paste suspended from a straight line row of square-cut emerald pastes set à jour in hinged mounts with engraved, scrolled foliate sides, alternating with diamante baguette and pave-set, stepped rectangular plaques, each centered with a marquise emerald.

~ The necklace measures 17 1/2” long and the Pendant Drop is 2” x 3/4”.

~ The stones have been set into heavily plated rhodium metal, and the necklace terminates in a hidden folding clasp.

 c. 1938, in excellent vintage condition. This is truly is piece of jewelry history, having been designed by Trifari’s famous head designer Alfred Philippe, who was responsible for creating fine jewelry masterpieces for both Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels.
