Kenneth J.Lane Simulated Diamond & Gold Jeweled Belt

NWS 1-789

~ Measures 33.5" long and 1.75" widest; clasp is a large jewel-studded medallion, measuring 2.75" wide, with hook underneath, so belt can be adjusted shorter

~ Hand-soldered, gold colored metal has filigree loops running up the center of the length of the belt, at .75" intervals, and these loops are what the hook attaches to

~ I couldn't begin to count the number of clear, faceted crystals in this amazing piece, but I can tell you they are all faceted by hand and also hand-set with prongs (not glued in)

~ This jeweled beauty was designed by Kenneth J. Lane for the Dutchess of Windsor in the late 60's.  She was a great admirer of Lane's creations, and included much of what he created in her personal collection;  in fact, she loved this belt so much, she was buried in it

~ Featured in the book, Faking It, by Lane and Miller, p. 129

~ Stamped oval plaque is soldered onto back of clasp and reads, "K.J.L."

~ In mint condition, and all stones are original

Price = $615.00
