1940's Sterling Bird Brooch with Simulated Diamonds

~ What a glorious creature she is!  With a rose gold colored wash on her wings and tail feathers, sterling body, and details depicted with countless pave-set, simulated diamonds, she is a beauty to behold

~ One faceted, faux emerald marks her eye

~ Measures slightly over 2.75" from beak to tail, and  1.75" from wing tip to wing tip

~ Her body was originally covered in the rose gold wash, but time has removed much of it from the high portions, revealing the gorgeous sterling beneath; nothing could mar the beauty of this bird!
