Original by Robert Red Beads & Gold Necklace

NWS 9-1349

~ This necklace is one in a million. It's like owning 2 or 3 necklaces in one, because it can be worn in so many different ways! Depending on where you place the clasp, you get a totally different look. How cool is that!

~ The necklace is comprised of seven strands, in graduated lengths, which are beaded with fabulous, faceted red glass beads. Each strand has a fewer number of red beads with an increasing number of golden spring beds. I call these "spring beads" because they actually look like tightly coiled springs, and each of these beads is flexible. In between each bead is a golden spacer bead.

~ The shovel clasp is mounded with red, faceted, glass beads and gold spacers, all of which have been hand sewn onto decorative metal plates with brass wire. The top of the clasp is denoted with 3 faceted, faux diamonds making it easy for the wearer to use.

~  The necklace measures approximately 16" long. The clasp measures 2.25" long and slightly over .75" wide.

~ Signed "Original by Robert" on the reverse of the clasp. Robert jewelry is uncommon, is no longer being made, and is highly collectible.

c. 1960, in excellent condition

Price = $345.00
