Kenneth Jay Lane Diamond & Enamel "Snake Skin" Bracelet NWS 8-1491 ~ It may be hard to tell from the photos, but this bracelet is not flat. The sides curve upwards, then the top is flat, so it is shaped like an upside-down "U" for its entire length. It's meant to look like snake skin. I once had the matching necklace which was a collar that ended with a snake head at one end and its tail at the other end, black and diamond, just like this bracelet. ~ This fabulous bracelet is made of 18 individual links that are hooked together from underneath, so the loops are hidden. The links alternate between golden edged, black enamel segments in a "snakey" zig zag shape, and golden segments that are absolutely covered with pavé set, faceted, faux diamonds. These links fit together like pieces of a puzzle. What a delicious design! And every single stone has been set in goldtone metal, so that a hundred sparkles of light are reflected every time you move your wrist. ~ The bracelet measures 7.5" long and just slightly under .5" wide. It terminates with a crystal covered, folding clasp, so it is beuatifully disguised into the design. Naturally! We've all come to expect only the best from Mr. Lane! ~ And, even though this bracelet is smothered in Swarovski's best crystals, it is a versatile item for your wardrobe: it can be worn either casually, or it can meet your needs for a more dressy affair. ~ Signed "©KJL" on the reverse of the clasp.
