Trifari Grape Cluster Amethyst & Diamond Fur Clip ~ I look at this fur clip, with its four, fat, juicy amethyst "grapes", clustered beneath a "diamond"-studded leaf, and it makes me think of the luscious, sun-ripened vineyards of the Italian Mediterranean. ~ The faux amethysts are faceted, oval-cut crystals that have been prong-set in goldtone metal ~ Sprinkled amongst the deep purple stones are tiny dew drops of faux diamonds, all of which are clear and bright. ~ The grape vine is depicted in black, enamel edged with gold, while the grape leaf is done in thickly plated rhodium metal. It is covered with dozens of faceted, pavé-set, faux diamonds. ~ Measures 2.25" high and 1.5" wide - Signed "Trifari", with crown trademark above the "T", and "PAT.PEND." c. 1930, in excellent condition, so yummy!
