Art Deco Dress Clip

~ Tri-color dress clip has a row of large, pale, faux sapphires, emeralds and rubies.

~ The facets have been cut by hand into ovals. The cut of these particular stones is called "double cut", involving more hand labor which is unusual for costume jewelry. These  additional facets have given the crystals superior brilliance. The photo on the right shows the back of the clip, with open-back settings for the stones, and no foil.  These are the finest quality crystals, in perfect condition. The goldtone metal is not discolored - that's just a shadow on the photo!

~ Each stone is .5" high and 3/5" wide.

~ All stones have been prong-set by hand.

~ Obviously of superior quality, the clip also has a good heft to it.
