Robert Soft Mesh Golden Bow Bracelet on Hold NWS 6-1476 ~ Sexy looking, and sexy feeling, this gold mesh bracelet is made of tiny metal tiles, or plates, that drape softly, like fabric. This bracelet is just plain fun to wear! IT also has a subtle golden color that would pass for real gold,... not that awful, bright yellow metal that we see nowadays, so obviously fake. ~ The bracelet terminates in a shovel clasp, and when the to ends are joined, it looks like a bow. Very Retro (1938-1952). The clasp is worn at the top of the wrist. ~ The bracelet measures 7.5" long and just a bit over 1" at the widest part (bow clasp). ~ Signed "AL ROBERT" on the reverse of the clasp. I have researched this mark, but could find nothing about it. I am guessing it may be An Original By Robert (designer Robert Levy). c. 1948 in good condition, some minor wear to plating on clasp, but fabulously wearable.
