Marcel Boucher Golden Rhinestone Brooch & Earrings Set

~ Still in its original, leather covered, satin lined, gift box from "A. Roseliz - San Francisco, CA.", a jeweler, I don't believe this set has ever been worn

~ This lovely vintage Marcel Boucher set has all the classic styling of the Retro period of the 1940's

~ Heavily gold-plated, this set is also covered in pavé-set, faceted crystals, all of which are in mint condition

~ These clear crystals have been prong-set into thickly plated rhodium metal and are in perfect condition

~ Both the pin and earrings bear the "BOUCHER" mark on the reverse, and the earrings have a Patent no. 2668341; research at the US Patent Office revealed that this is not a design patent, as I had thought; it is a mechanical patent entitled "adjustable stop for the spring clips of earrings", patent filed September 26, 1950;  that means these clips can be adjusted for your comfort

~ The brooch measures 2.5" wide and 1.5" high

~ Earrings measure 1.5" wide and 1 1/8" long

~ The original gift box is in excellent condition as well, and measures 3.25" wide and 4.25"
