Vintage Woven Beaded Trellis Bracelet NWS 4-344 ~ This bracelet is a knock out! It's formed by linking together rows of goldtone metal "plates", in between which there are 48 red glass beads. And what's extra neat about it is that it is super wide. Like a fancy, lace cuff at the wrist, this piece has impressive impact. ~ This kind of construction is all hand done, and you just don't find this kind of workmanship on today's costume jewelry. Even the top of the shovel clasp is engraved. ~ 3 Large, free form, ceramic beads (almost 1" long and .75" wide) dangle from the end of the bracelet. These 3 beads are thickly glazed, are hand made, and are in perfect condition after all these years. ~ The bracelet measures 7" long and 2" wide (yes, I said 2" wide, how cool is that?!). ~ The dangles hang down from the end approximately 2.25". ~ From the "Roaring Twenties" (1920's), in excellent vintage condition.
