Selro Tangerine & Gold Bracelet

NWS  4-933

~ Don't you just love these fabulous bracelets from the 1940's? They're so gorgeous!  For the bold, life-loving woman who enjoys being different and isn't afraid to be noticed, this Selro bracelet is for you!

~ And don't you love these wonderful, deep colors of coral and tangerine, all set in goldtone metal and surrounded by glass pearls for contrast!

~ All stones have been prong-set by hand, the sort of intensive labor we don't see in today's costume jewelry.

~ Here we see Ann Sheridan on the cover of Picturegoer Magazine in May of 1941. In those days, the style was to wear more than one bracelet at a time. In this photo, Ann is wearing three.

~ Measures a generous 8" long and 1.5" wide.

SelroTangerineBlet9.jpg (10170 bytes) ~ This is a "movie still" from one of Carole Landis' movies in the early 40's. Note that she is wearing a similar bracelet. These colors of coral, tangerine, pearl and gold go well with so many things in a woman's wardrobe, including grey flannel, black, chocolate brown, yellow.... The possibilities are endless!

~ Adding a little extra sparkle, two juicy tangerine chatons connect each of the four links.

~ Has a lovely folding clasp, with safety chain for security. Safety chains were only put on better quality jewelry, for obvious reasons.

c. 1940, in super condition, an extraordinary bracelet with pizzazz!

Price =  $127.00 b 1, q-z 2
