Vintage Mexican Sterling Clamper Cuff NWS 4-107 ~ This sterling cuff is so gorgeous, and hard to find. The workmanship on this piece is superb, and the design is right out of Mexico's heritage - the Mayan tradition - as evidenced by the scrolls, swirls and beaded, raised silver balls. ~ At the back, a spring-loaded hinge keeps the "clamper" secure on your wrist; it's nice and tight, but without being uncomfortable. ~ This cuff fits any size wrist; whether it closes all the way, or remains slightly open on your wrist, it doesn't matter - it looks great both ways. ~ Signed "EN" and marked "Hecho en Mexico" (which means "made in Mexico") and 925 Taxco" and "Mexico Sterling". The mark is pre-Eagle (which means it was made before 1948). c. 1940, in excellent vintage condition (I do not polish vintage sterling). Price = $785.00 b 1 |
