~ This is an adorable brooch that was designed by one of Coro's most famous designer's, Adolph Katz;  it is known as "The Water Carrier"

~ As you can see from the 2nd image above, the design patent was filed in  1947

~ The brooch is sterling silver with a gilt coating, known as "vermeil"

~ Measures 2" wide and 2" high

~ Signed "Corocraft" with the Pegasus logo, and "Sterling"; Corocraft was a top line of jewelry manufactured by Coro
