Hitler takes the highest position of political power in Germany, and officially declares the beginning of the Third Reich..... Now look at the jewelry that our women were wearing. Nothing and nobody could break the American spirit. ~ Aren't they adorable? Whimsical and happy, this pair of elephants, one black, the other red, are made of leather and are genuine American Folk Art ~ They dangle from a bar pin, which is made of rolled leather, with a simple brass pin ~ Each elephant is 2" wide and 1.25" high; total height, from top of bar to bottom of elephants is 2.5" ~ Each elephant is the exact opposite color scheme of its mate; for example, one bears a black saddle, the other a red one; the red elephant has black tusks, while the black elephant has red ones; the black elephant has been hand stitched with red thread, and the red one has black thread.... c. 1928, hand stitched and glued, in excellent vintage condition Price = |
