dozens of crystals in unique and wonderful cuts that really dazzle the eye. Wendy Gell is
famous for her collage jewelry, often incorporating vintage components into her designs.

labor that went into the creation of this fabulous, one-of-a-kind necklace is hard - if
not impossible - to find in today's mass produced costume jewelry. Each stone has been
lovingly placed by hand.

magazine. ~ Her pieces have graced the covers of Vogue,and many famous
movie stars collect her designs. Wendy's jewelry is greatly sought after in the
collector’s market and her clients include Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer,Isabella
Rossilini, and Cher. Wendy Gell jewelry can also be found in the private collections of
Elizabeth Taylor, Elton John (designed sunglasses for him), Hillary Clinton, the

~ This particular crescent necklace
is suspended from two beaded chains that include faceted crystals in clear, aqua and
intense blue. The clasp is a loop and toggle.
~ The necklace measures 17.5"
long; the widest part of the crescent (at the center) measures 1.75" wide.
~ Substantial? Yes.... But! Not too
heavy, and definitely NOT uncomfortable to wear. Wendy has designed the collar so
that the crescent sits right at a woman's collar bone, very flattering.
| ~ While the design of this crescent necklace is mostly comprised
of faux diamonds and sapphires, there are also tiny seed pearls scattered into the
collage. The stones have been glued into a bold design, with many stones overlapping one
another. ~ The base of the necklace is made of a metal crescent. There
are over 100 stones in this piece alone! Here we see Marissa Berenson wearing a very
similar crescent collar by Wendy Gell. So fabulous!
~ Signed "wendy Gell" in several places on the reverse.
