Chocolate and Citrus Necklace & Bracelet Set

~ Good enough to eat! Big, fat, luscious faceted ovals dominate the necklace and bracelet. These stones are very unusual. They are NOT topaz. They are a deep, chocolate brown, and all 10 of them have been prong-set into gold plated metal. They are accompanied by the most shimmery, palest lemon yellow stones I've ever seen. They are pale in color, yes, but they are also extremely vivid. My camera makes them look dull white, but I can assure you, these yellow crystals are brilliant beyond belief!

~ The necklace also has 16 emerald cut, chocolate stones that run along the center of the design. These stones, as well as the 3 large ovals, are all in open settings, so as the light strikes them, they are mesmerizing. They've been faceted on both the fronts and the backs, and all have been prong-set into the golden metal. The combination of these deep brown stones with the pale yellow crystals is superb.

~ In fact, all of the stones in this set have been prong set.

~ The stones in the bracelet have closed settings (solid backs). The bracelet terminates in a jewel-covered shovel clasp. Includes a safety chain, another sign of quality.

~ The necklace has a jeweled extension chain of yellow crystals, ending with one large, emerald cut, chocolate stone. The clasp is a hook, so the length is adjustable from a maximum of 15" long.

~ The center of the necklace measures 1.25" wide (that's the widest point). c. 1950, in great vintage condition. There is some normal wear to the plating on the reverse of both pieces, but they are clean and bright, nothing objectionable, and very wearable. All the stones are original, and all are perfect!
