Chenel Copper & Gold Leaves Bracelet

~ Look at the fabulous colors in this metal bracelet - so awesome! There are 2 layers of leaves, with the copper ones on the lower layer, and the golden ones on top

~ The leaves are linked together with thick, goldtone, metal rings

~ Each leaf has been cut, hammered and shaped by hand, lending their surfaces an intriguing unevenness; the result is that they look like real leaves that have been dipped in molten metal

~ The last leaf has a hook underneath it, which hooks through a small hole in the leaf at the opposite end; when you're wearing it, you absolutely cannot tell where it ends and where it begins!

~ The leaves are 2 sizes: the copper ones underneath are 1.25" long (from round end to tip), and the golden ones on top are slightly smaller, measuring just over 1 1/8" long; the bracelet itself measures 7.25" long

c. 1910, from the Arts & Crafts Movement, most likely one-of-a-kind; there is wear to the plating in spots here and there, but that just adds to the real look; this bracelet is so cool, it just doesn't matter!
