Trifari Rhinestone & GoldenParure of  Necklace, Bracelet & Earrings

NWS 14-1069

~ The necklace of this set is featured in several books: Costume Jewelry, The Golden Age of Design, by Joann Dubbs Ball, p. 113; Signed Beauties of Costume Jewelry, Identification & Values, by Marcia Brown, p. 172, and other books as well! there's a reason the authors have chosen this set to include in their books about the best:   this is a graceful floral design; you can wear one piece or the other as the  mood strikes you, or you can wear the entire set to make a powerful impression

~ Today's jewelry is often so cheap looking, with that awful, brassy gold color that doesn't look real; this Trifari set, on the other hand, DOES look real, because Trifari was a master of "the real look"; Trifari took the time and effort to create jewelry that could fool the manager at Tiffany's, and anyone seeing you in this Trifari set wouldn't know the difference

~ The necklace measures 13" long to a maximum of 15.25" long, with a hook clasp and extension chain; the floral design goes all the way around to the back, so if you wear your hair up, it'll look just as pretty as it does in the front; it measures slightly over .5" wide

~ The bracelet mimics the same design as the necklace, except that it is slightly larger in scale, measuring 7.25" long and .75" wide; bracelet has folding clasp

~ The matching clip earrings are just under 1" wide

~ All 4 pieces are marked "Trifari" with the crown logo above the "T"

~ All 74 crystals are a combination of faceted, marquis-cut stones and faceted  chatons (rounds); all crystals are clear and bright, 2 small chatons are replacements, the rest are original

c. 1950, in excellent vintage condition

Price = $178.00
