The two women competed ferociously against one another, while fashion conscious women the world over, benefited from their head butting. The more sophisticated Chanel became, the more outrageous Schiaparelli became with her jewelry. It was all about attracting the most attention, m,making the most headlines. In the end, both designers won, and so did we.

- Can you sense the competitive edge in this necklace? It is luscious, extravagant, and has that 19th century "Let Them Eat Cake" look that says vous êtes arrivé!  The necklace contains 14 large oval stones, in a deep ruby color, and faceted on both the fronts and backs. These crystals have been bezel set into goldtone collars.

~ Another 28 faceted, faux ruby chatons are scattered throughout the sophisticated, swag design.

~ The chandelier earrings each contain 3 strands of faux rubies in graduated lengths, creating a graceful waterfall effect. They are clips and measure 3.30" long!

- The necklace measures 18" long and hangs down another 2" at the center.
