1950's Faux Sapphire and Silvertone Bracelet

~ If I had to pick just one jewelry category to collect, it would be 1950's bracelets; they are so deliciously fabulous;  they reflect the sheer exuberance and prosperity of the decade immediately following World War II 

~ This bracelet consists of 6 rectangular links of intricate silvertone metalwork in the "Etruscan" style of tiny beads of silver, set on an  antiqued, pewtery finish, lending an air of age to this large but delicate piece

~ At the center of each link is a large, faceted, oval crystal in a captivating deep ocean blue color that really draws the eye

~ Each stone is bezel-set with a profusion of tiny silver beads forming the edges; the backs of the settings are open, and the stones are foiled; foiling is intact and in good condition!

~ Measures 8" long and 1 5/8" wide, with engraved folding clasp

c. 1950, all original stones, all in excellent condition
