Turquoise & Sterling Lizard Cuff by Famous Navaho artist, Albert Cleveland

NWS 11-815

- Awesome, huge, magnificent!  Albert Cleveland, the famous Navaho artist, has out-done himself this time! This is one of the most beautiful Native American Navajo cuffs I have seen and also one of the most beautiful pieces of turquoise

- Signed on the reverse "AC" for Albert Cleveland, and "sterling"

~ The center stone is "Spiderweb Turquoise" - very popular - and you can see the black matrix rock mixed in. I personally guarantee this stone to be real Spiderweb turquoise

~ The stone is huge and measures 2.25" tall by l.5" wide; it is a fabulous blue/green stone; I think Spiderweb is the name of the turquoise mine it came from in the American Southwest

~ The cuff is made of solid sterling, every inch of which has been hand-tooled with designs by the artist: on one side is a lovely, scaly lizard, and on the other side is another lizard with different decorations to depict a different species of lizard; Lizard medicine is  for DREAMING, or astral journeys of the soul

~ All along the edges of this massive cuff are hand-tooled designs, like zig- zag, teeth and clouds

- Surrounding the large center stone are 22 balls of solid sterling, which signify raindrops;  the detail is superb, especially the silver swirls on the side of the setting - like thick deep ribbons

~ The turquoise is bezel-set in a saw-tooth edging, and just outside of this setting is a strand of rope twisted sterling for added emphasis to the stone

~ The front of the cuff measure just under 3" wide and the sides measure 2 3/8" at the widest, tapering to 2" (narrowest)

~ The opening at the back measures 1.5" and can be adjusted carefully; the inside circumference measures 6.25"

- Can be worn by either a man or woman;  not recommended for a petite woman; please measure your wrist before ordering

- This is an investment quality piece and is not just a jewelry item, but also a work of Native American art that you will not find every day

Price = $1,495.00
